About us

In September of last year, Burlington Together admin Michael Desjardins brought a group of people together to create a short term food and fundraising drive to support the Burlington Food Bank and local charities. That worked out so well that we have decided to stick around, because short term just isn't long enough. Watch for us in 2024 and be sure to reach out if you have an idea for a fundraising event, if you would like to help out a Burlington not-for-profit or charity, or if you are part of an organization that could use a hand.

Compassion Society

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Cars, Cocktails & Compassion event -- together we raised nearly $12,000 for the Compassion Society!

Rock Reach out Centre for Kids

Another fantastic fundraising event with $4000 raised for ROCK Reach Out Centre for Kids! Thank you so much to everyone who made this possible -- AB Sports Bar for hosting, Nickel Brook Brewing Co. for great beer at a good price, Andrew Irving and Megan Gilbey for beautiful music, and our amazing volunteers -- Breanna C Cordeiro, Ashlee Bob Saigeon, and Sondra Pollock!

Carpenter Hospice

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Tibbs Eve celebrations at AB Sports Bar -- together we raised $3300 for Carpenter Hospice! Another amazing evening of fun, festivities and fundraising.

We presented a cheque (along with Andrew Irving) for $5030 to Halton Women's Place in December 2023.
